Advertising must present the truth of the offer
and allow the product to sell itself. It is distilling the idea
down to a simple, strong effective message such as 'All of these
things really do fit in the PT Cruiser'.
There are 4 basic rules
of Great Advertising.
1 - Have an arresting and highly emotional headline.
2 - Include a logical and irresistible offer.
3 - Instill Believability, Credibility and Honesty... with no asterisks.
4 - Include specifics as to what needs to be done to get it.
I have one very strong
belief: The cost of running
a bad ad is exactly the same as running a superb ad. We
strive for superb. The Chintz
and Company campaign,
with the simple message of “It’s a Beautiful Thing”,
ran nationally and increased their Christmas sales.
Take a tour
of some of our advertising concepts. I believe you will find them
clever, but honest and effective.
